Job Description and Duties

The California Lottery is seeking a motivated and operationally minded leader to join the Retailer Financial Services unit as a Supervisor I. This position plays an important role in supporting financial operations related to collections, accounts receivables, retailer account management, and operational process improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who can think critically, communicate effectively, support staff through change, and contribute to improving operational efficiency, accuracy, accountability, and customer service.

We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving operational priorities. Candidates should be prepared to balance daily workload demands and production timelines while supporting process improvement efforts, operational changes, issue resolution, and overall team performance. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful operational improvements while supporting a team responsible for critical financial and customer support functions within the California Lottery.

This position is headquartered in Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as assigned. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires the employee to reside in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: "telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California.
