Description:

Supervisor position located at Mount Carmel New Albany

$15,000 sign on for eligible hires

Position Purpose:

The CT/MRI Supervisor is Responsible for the daily operation of the CT/MRI department including: performing CT/MRI procedures, manpower utilization quality of patient care delivery, cost effective utilization of

available resources.

What You Will Do:

  • Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
  • Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Responsible for implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements for CT/MRI.
  • Performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgment and initiative

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • Licensure / Certification: Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid State of Ohio Radiological license required. CT/MRI Certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years experience as a staff radiographer required.
  • Prior work experience in a hospital environment, specifically in fluoroscopic and emergency services. Recent and relevant supervisory experience in Diagnostic Radiology, preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
