    Description

    Role Summary: The function of the position must achieve, in a shared manner with all areas of the plant, the assurance of the quality of products and processes to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities & Requirements:
    - Coordinate a program of random inspections to evaluate the quality of the processes.
    - Coordinate analysis to determine preventive actions to reduce defects or improve processes.
    - Issuance of reports/metrics of different indicators of the plant.
    - Lead interdepartmental groups Solving Problems related to KPI indicators
    - Trigger CIP projects for the systematic improvement of processes.
    - Lead root cause analysis to prevent quality problems derived from customer complaints.
    - Guarantee the implementation and monitoring of the Plant's MSA.
    - Control and update the calibration program of the plant's measuring instruments and equipment.
    - Measurement, monitoring and improvement of the FPY of the Plant.
    - Coordinate training for plant personnel on issues of Quality and Continuous Improvement.
    - Generate interactions with suppliers to ensure proper receipt of materials at the plant.
    - Foster the culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of CIP projects.
    - Provide feedback and technical support to internal and external areas on issues related to quality.
    - Meet site goals according to the KPIs defined by the Corporate (COPQs, OTD, CARs, CSS, financial results).
    - Ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulations by the team.
    - Ensure the relevant issuance of dimensional reports and all PNDs for the inspections carried out.
    - Coordination of the Quality Control team.
    - Keep the Quality Quest updated with all the information of the NCRs and ensure the correct closing of the report.
    - Administration of the document system for the preparation of the dossier.
    - Generate the inspection plan to ensure the quality of the parts/equipment that arrive/leave the plant.
    - Guarantee the inspection of the materials that arrive from the supplier or that are sent for remote release, as well as coordinate the necessary visits to inspect the supplier site (source Inspection).
    - Ensure the use of the bomb release Checklist according to the corporate format.
    - Generate photographic release reports of equipment in final assembly.
    - Validate the quality of the information in the documents delivered by the production department.
    - Other duties as assigned

    Preferred Experience / Skills:
    - Mechanical, Industrial Engineering experience
    - Solid knowledge in manufacturing processes
    - Knowledge of standards (ASME, ISO 9001, ASTM, API)
    - Green Belt Certificate and / or Execution of Lean-Six Sigma projects (Green Belt, Lean Practitioner, KAIZEN).
    - Experience with development and implementation of PFMEA & Control Plan.
    - Work Team Management Experience in problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC, 3x5Whys, Fishbone, C&E).
    - Previous experience in Engineer-to-Order environments
    - PMI project management
    - Previous experience in Quality with Suppliers (SQA, SQE)
    - BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience

    The pay range for this role is $94,967.41 - $142,517.90 per year.
