Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour

  • Duration: 4 Months
  • Work Mode: Training onsite daily; would move to hybrid model once training is complete
  • Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Manage resource planning, monitor workflows, oversee day-to-day operational activities, and measure and report on team productivity and individual performance.
  • Provide feedback and coaching for managers and non-managers to ensure a productive and engaged team.
  • Lead or participate in stakeholder engagement sessions and work in partnership with brokers to improve the client experience.
  • Maintain a controlled risk environment and ensure compliance with business Professional Standards and Operation team Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage escalated calls, complaints, questions, and queries as necessary and oversee the complaints management system.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to Operations team Executives on systems, documentation, and reporting.
  • Supervise operations specialists supporting clients with renewal coordination and document creation.
  • Build relationships with colleagues from multiple remote offices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate feedback within the team and supported offices, identify trends, and resolve escalated service issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written communication with remote client teams.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency, including basic Excel formulas, pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Managerial aptitude with a desire to coach, mentor, and develop the team.
  • Ability to work and adjust in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • 5 years of total work experience, with 3 years in insurance or financial services.
  • 3 years of prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance.
  • Experience with change management to guide teams through organizational changes.
