Position Overview

The Supervisor of Cardiovascular & Invasive Services plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations, coordination, and oversight of both clinical and technical personnel in invasive procedural settings. These areas include, but are not limited to, the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, and Interventional Radiology (IR).

This position is vital for promoting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care by ensuring adequate staffing levels, coordinating workflows, maintaining regulatory compliance, and following organizational policies and clinical standards. As a key leader, the Supervisor collaborates closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and support departments to enhance patient throughput, experience, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree is required, specifically in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in invasive cardiovascular procedures, interventional radiology, or related services is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role or as a charge/lead staff member is preferred.

Licensure and Certification

  • Must hold a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required.
