Supervisor - KMC Operations

Kauai Medical Clinic is the island's largest clinic and only multispecialty medical group. More than 85 physicians and midlevel providers offer primary and specialty care at clinic locations in Eleele, Kapaa, Koloa and Lihue.

The Clinic Operations department oversees projects designed to ensure that clinic operations move smoothly. In collaboration with clinic management and staff, the Clinic Operations team identifies, organizes, initiates and implements process improvement initiatives that increase each clinic's capacity to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Under the general direction of the Director of Clinical Ops, responsible for the day-to-day operations of one or more practice sites to include the oversight of patient care activity. Ensures efficient operations and assists with the improvement of systems and processes, monitoring of performance standards, ensuring accountability and providing training for staff to help them meet performance standards. Establishes, organizes, and orchestrates the workflow of the clinical staff and coordinates resources to ensure quality service is provided.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a health care related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience. Three (3) years of progressive clinic operations experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawaii RN License. Current BLS. Budget and Finance experience, familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding, and health care management experience.
