Job Description:

At CoBank, the Supervisor of Loan Operations Support will be leading a team of Loan Operations Analyst responsible for serving as a liaison for Loan Operations with Controllers, Special Assets, and Credit Divisions, and provides daily monitoring and reconciliation of data that impacts the Loan Servicing system's General Ledger and regulatory reporting. This team, and the Supervisor specifically, will play a key role in partnering with our Product Team to ensure Loan Operations understands the technical direction of the systems we interact with and serves as SMEs as needed. The Supervisor is responsible for the accuracy and effective execution of servicing support activities performed by their team and in support of the broader department, ensuring compliance to CoBank's policies and procedures, designed to provide outstanding customer service and maintain the soundness of CoBank's financial statements.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage workflow and balance department workload to ensure assigned activity is processed within the expected time frames and Service Level Agreements, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Maintain a sound operating environment ensuring transactions are processed accurately, are properly documented and approved in accordance to documented policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team utilizing in-depth knowledge of CoBank processes and Loan Operations principles.
  • Provide subject matter expertise representing Loan Operations on division or enterprise level projects.
  • Responsible for managing and oversight of CoBank’s non-accrual portfolio, financial reporting, and General Ledger monitoring and reconciliation requirements.
  • Oversees department reporting and analytics, including but not limited to ACBS, PeopleSoft, CoStar/DMF Tableau, DataMart, and LANSA Client data platforms.
  • Supervise staff: set and communicate performance standards, monitor performance, and provide ongoing communication and coaching and recommend personnel appropriate actions.
  • Monitor and report activity volume, performance metrics, Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators; correct problems, identify trends and recommend and present opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage the team’s subject matter expertise to support the business needs such as user acceptance case writing and execution, support of the SAFe Agile Framework in story writing, working with developers in brainstorming and troubleshooting solutions, and support.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required
Work Experience:
  • 8 years of relevant experience with general commercial, non-accrual, and General Ledger accounting practices, data mining and reporting, as well as excellent customer service and written communication skills. required
  • 5 years of personal computers and software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets, and query and data management tools such as LANSA Client, Tableau, and/or Datamart or other data query tools. required
About CoBank:

The typical base pay range for this role is between $90,900 - $111,800. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance. The listed salary, other compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting. This job will be posted for a minimum of five (5) business days or until the position is filled.
