Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of assigned maintenance contractor services supporting routine maintenance activities, maintenance events, outages, turnarounds, and mechanical integrity activities at Freeport LNG. This position provides direct oversight of contracted services including HVAC, Scaffolding, Insulation, Crane and Rigging, Rental Equipment, and other assigned contractor services. The role is responsible for contractor safety, performance, cost management, KPI tracking, contract compliance, resource coordination, and execution support across the site. The Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for contractor performance, safety compliance, scheduling coordination, and work execution associated with maintenance activities. The position works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, HSSE, Supply Chain, Reliability, and contractor leadership teams to ensure assigned resources are available and executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Freeport LNG standards and contractual requirements. The Supervisor functions as the site subject matter expert for assigned contractor services and provides leadership during routine maintenance activities, Outages, turnarounds, mechanical integrity work, and special projects.
Duties/Responsibilities
Contractor Management and Oversight
- Provide direct supervision and oversight of assigned contractors including:
o HVAC Services
o Scaffolding & Insulation
o Crane & Rigging
o Rental Equipment
o Other assigned maintenance support contracts.

- Serve as the primary Freeport LNG representative for assigned contractor relationships.
- Ensure contractor compliance with Freeport LNG policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
- Conduct routine contractor performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate contractor staffing plans and resource forecasts to support maintenance activities.

- Promote and enforce Freeport LNG safety culture and expectations.
- Conduct field audits, observations, and contractor safety engagements.
- Lead contractor safety meetings and participate in incident investigations when required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA requirements, company standards, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive timely closure of contractor corrective actions and safety improvement opportunities.

- Coordinate contractor resources to support routine maintenance, maintenance events, outages, turnarounds, and mechanical integrity activities.
- Participate in planning and scheduling meetings to ensure resource availability and schedule alignment.
- Monitor contractor readiness, mobilization, and equipment availability.
- Support development of work scopes, contractor bid evaluations, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate crane, rigging, scaffolding, insulation, HVAC, and rental equipment activities to support safe and efficient maintenance execution.

- Develop, track, and report contractor performance KPIs.
- Monitor contractor daily force levels, productivity, workforce utilization, cost performance, and schedule compliance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize contractor effectiveness and reduce overall support costs.
- Prepare reports and presentations supporting contractor performance reviews and maintenance event assessments.
- Support budget development and cost control efforts for assigned contractor services.

Based on comparable supervisory qualifications in existing Freeport LNG positions.
Preferred Education:
Associate Degree, Technical Degree, or Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience:
Ten to fifteen (10-15) years of experience managing industrial contractors supporting maintenance, outages, turnarounds, scaffolding, insulation, crane and rigging, HVAC services, and equipment rental programs.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of contractor management principles and industrial maintenance practices.
- Working knowledge of scaffolding standards, regulations, and inspection practices.
- Understanding of crane and rigging principles, lift planning, and safe lifting practices.
- Knowledge of industrial HVAC systems and support service requirements.
- Understanding of maintenance event and turnaround execution processes.
- Strong knowledge of contractor safety management programs.
- Proficiency in SAP CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
Working Conditions and Physical Expectations
- Must be able to wear all required PPE.
- Operates in both office and industrial plant environments.
- Routinely exposed to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
- Exposure to moving equipment, construction activities, industrial processes, and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility.
Working Conditions and Physical Expectations
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and perform field inspections for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
- May be required to work at elevated heights and enter confined spaces.
