POSITION SUMMARY:
The job Supervisor, Facilities was established for the purpose/s of providing leadership oversight and hands on maintenance services and overall operations with specific responsibility for ensuring completion of assigned work order projects and continued operation of all assets falling under the maintenance shop scope of responsibility; performing a wide variety of skilled maintenance activities (e. g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, alarms - Direct Digital Control, Fire System Control, Medical Gas System, Emergency Generator Systems, Computer Monitoring Systems, etc.) and any other duties as directed;
. Works independently and interdependently within the hospital network to accomplish efficient, cost effective, quality patient care. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of SJHHC.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

Participates in orientation and continuing education to maintain knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS, OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal, motivational and conflict resolution skills.
Strong participatory management, team building and administrative skills. Broad based knowledge of related
regulatory compliance requirements. Experience with capital expenditures and budgeting preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
Exposure Class I or II, service specific -various, depending on service - limited exposure to situations which could cause serious illness or injury. May involve exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Medium work: some lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
WORK CONTACT GROUP:
All services, staff, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, various regulatory and professional agencies.

Pay Range: $62,400-$93,600
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
