Base Compensation Range: $79,000 - $98,750
*In addition, you qualify for:

Duties/Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise the daily activities of maintenance technicians, assigning work priorities and ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to support employee development and accountability.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and work quality while maintaining appropriate staffing levels to support operational needs.
  • Promote teamwork, communication, and a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and corrective action in partnership with management and Human Resources.

 

Maintenance Operations

  • Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
  • Prioritize maintenance work based on production schedules, equipment criticality, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor work order completion and ensure maintenance activities are properly documented within the CMMS.
  • Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation equipment.
  • Escalate complex equipment issues requiring additional engineering or technical expertise.

 

Equipment Reliability & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, uptime, and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Support implementation of preventive maintenance improvements and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities following equipment failures.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, confined space, and other safety requirements.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and address unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Support investigations of safety incidents and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure maintenance documentation complies with company quality and regulatory requirements.

 

Planning, Scheduling & Resource Coordination

  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production and other departments to minimize operational disruption.
  • Monitor inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies, communicating replenishment needs as appropriate.
  • Coordinate work performed by outside contractors and service providers.
  • Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and workload prioritization.
  • Monitor maintenance performance metrics and communicate equipment concerns to management.



Experience/Education

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience leading teams, serving as a lead technician, or providing work direction preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and experience will be considered.

 

Knowledge and Skillsets Required

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and coordinate repair activities.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industrial maintenance safety practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee coaching skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities personnel.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting: Occasionally while completing administrative work and meetings.
  • Standing or walking: Frequently throughout manufacturing and maintenance areas.
  • Using computers: Frequent use of computers, tablets, and maintenance management systems.
  • Lifting: Occasionally up to 50 pounds while assisting with maintenance activities.
  • Repetitive motions: Frequent use of hands, tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching may be required while inspecting equipment or supporting maintenance activities.

 

Environmental Conditions:

  • Workspace: Combination of manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, and office environments.
  • Lighting: Standard manufacturing and office lighting.
  • Noise Levels: Frequent exposure to manufacturing equipment and industrial noise.
  • Temperature: May be exposed to varying temperatures depending on equipment and facility conditions.
  • Ventilation: Manufacturing ventilation systems with occasional exposure to dust, oils, lubricants, and cleaning chemicals appropriate to industrial maintenance environments.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Required while working in designated manufacturing and maintenance areas.
