    Description

    Job Summary

    The role is responsible for supervising daily financial management and operational activities to ensure timely revenue collection and compliance with organizational standards. Responsibilities include coordinating and distributing work assignments, overseeing staffing and scheduling, monitoring financial assistance and Medicaid application processes, conducting quality audits, and ensuring compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements. The position also supports employee management functions including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions while maintaining efficient workflow operations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinate, prioritize, distribute, and supervise daily departmental work activities.
    • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce coverage to maintain operational efficiency.
    • Support hiring, onboarding, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
    • Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, regulatory requirements, and HR policies.
    • Monitor Medicaid and financial assistance applications for quality and accuracy.
    • Conduct random audits to maintain integrity and compliance of financial processes.
    • Address workflow errors, quality concerns, and provide staff training as needed.
    • Support financial management functions to ensure timely revenue collection.
    • Work closely with department leadership to maintain budget and operational goals.
    • Manage multiple operational and administrative projects simultaneously.
    • Maintain accurate records, reports, and departmental documentation.
    • Promote efficient customer service and team collaboration.

    Minimum Requirements / Skills

    • Associate's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience required.
    • Certified Application Counselor certification preferred.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
    • Experience with financial operations, audits, and compliance processes preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and team management abilities.
