Supervisor Night Shift

Basic Description: 2nd Shift

The Terco production Supervisor's role is to direct the production crew and manage resources to maximize productivity. The Terco production supervisor should work closely with compounding, receiving, quality and the mechanics to maximize throughput and minimize waste. They need to have a very good mechanical Aptitude or a base knowledge of BOV or Aerosol Can filling experience.

Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled production on time and at or below standard cost
• Oversee and assist Line leads in Associate training, including reviews and goal setting.
• Oversee regulatory Compliance processes and the execution within the production group.
• Organize and plan extended schedule.
• Ensure hourly production board is utilized and filled out correctly
• Maintain adequate skill sets in production personnel to overcome turnover, promotion and absentee issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of production activity
• Develop/discipline associates within corporate guidelines.
• Organize and reduce line change over times to improve throughput.
• Ensure lines are set up correctly to run at optimum speed and efficiency with good quality.
• Ensure a safe work environment in the production area.
• Ensure and further develop a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all time.
• Ensure inventory is reconciled correctly before and after production runs.
• Good Mechanical Aptitude or experience with production equipment such as Actuator cappers, Aerosol and BOV can filling experience.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings and system piping and instrument diagrams.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally and have their own tools as needed.
• Must be able to be on your feet 8 to 10 hours a day and work OT as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree in a related field and/or 3 to 5 years experience as a production supervisor.
• Possess the ability to direct multiple lines.
• Demonstrate a high comfort level working in a very diverse and high paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must have good attendance and dependability.
• Must have good math and computer skills which include Microsoft office.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English fluently.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must have an analytical aptitude.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
• Must have experience in team-building.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
