Anticipated Part Time Supervisor of Special Services
Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School District is seeking a dynamic, experienced educational leader to serve as Part Time Supervisor of Special Services. This is a 12-month, part-time position (3 days per week) with an anticipated start date of August 15, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid New Jersey Supervisor or Principal Certificate required.
Master's degree required; degree in Special Education, Educational Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of Special Education teaching experience (Preschool through Grade 6) required.
Previous experience as a Child Study Team member preferred, but not required.
Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, procedures, and reporting requirements related to Special Education and related programming, including IDEA, N.J.A.C. 6A:14, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Working knowledge of the requirements for developing, implementing, and monitoring 504 Accommodation Plans, including eligibility determination and procedural safeguards under Section 504 and the ADA.
Knowledge of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (N.J.S.A. 18A:37-13 et seq.) and the responsibilities of the school Anti-Bullying Specialist, including HIB investigation, prevention, and reporting requirements.
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise Special Education programs and to collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and Child Study Team members.
Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
SALARY
Salary is prorated and commensurate with experience, based on a full-time equivalent range of $90,000. No benefits. The Supervisor of Special Services / 504 Coordinator / HIB Specialist serves in accordance with the terms of any applicable employment agreement or board-approved contract. This position does not confer tenure or continuing contract rights beyond those provided by applicable law.
