TheOperationsSupervisoroverseestheday-to-dayadministrativeandbusinessoperationsforadesignatedsectionofTheEmoryClinic.Thisroleprovidessupervisionandoperationalsupportfornon-clinicalstaffandensuresthatfrontofficeandbusinessofficefunctionsoperateefficientlyandincompliancewithorganizationalpolicies,procedures,andregulatoryrequirements. TheOperationsSupervisorcollaborateswithphysicians,clinicleadership,andadministrativeteamstosupportefficientclinicworkflows,high-qualitypatientservice,andoperationalperformancegoals.Thisrolemonitorsoperationalperformance,implementsserviceimprovementinitiatives,andsupportsfinancialandadministrativeprocesseswithinthesection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational
Supervision
+ Supervisedailybusinessofficeoperationswithintheclinicsection. + Provideleadershipandoversightfornon-clinicalsupportstaffincluding: + Frontdeskpersonnel + Callcenterstaff + Medicalsecretaries + Medicalrecordsstaff + Precertificationcoordinators + Referralcoordinators. + Provideongoingperformancefeedback,coaching,andstaffdevelopment. + Participateinrecruitmentactivitiesincludinginterviewing,hiring,onboarding,andtrainingemployeesincollaborationwithclinicleadership. + Anticipatestaffingneedsandassistleadershipwithworkforceplanning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
and
Experience
+ Five (5)yearsofrelatedjobexperience,or + Bachelor’sdegreewiththree (3)yearsofrelatedexperience,or + GraduationfromtheOperationsDevelopmentProgram (ODP).

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks.
