Job Title: Supervisor - Operations

Organization Overview:

Responsibilities:

The Leader for 103 Formulation and Equipment Preparation within Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing will be responsible for providing direction, coaching, and developing the technical expertise of their manufacturing employees. This individual is responsible for instilling a Safety First and Quality Always mindset in the production area and will be accountable for ensuring adherence and providing input to the planned production schedule.

  • Ensure strict compliance with established policies / procedures (Safety, Production, Procedures, Sanitization, Gowning, etc.) and ensure operators are trained appropriately.
  • Take ownership for implementation of countermeasures associated with audits, observations, inspection findings, and deviations.
  • Participate in planning for operations, including networking with various upstream and downstream processes to verify materials and equipment are available for future orders.
  • Identify and escalate issues to the Process Team Leader, Operations Associate, and Process Team members, as necessary.
  • Responsible for the coaching, development, and performance evaluation of Operators
  • Act as both administrator and technical leader for operations, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems and use of proper technique.
  • Responsible for shop floor execution as it relates to business plan, GMP conformance, and OSSCE. Maintains floor presence and actively participates in practice vs procedure interactions.

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have Parenteral Operations experience (minimum 5 yrs preferred, prior aseptic experience preferred)
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Additional Information:

  • This position is for D-Shift (nights) on a 3-2-2-3, 12-hour shift structure with work required every other weekend.
  • This candidate must be flexible with hours. Must be available to attend meetings on other shifts as business needs require. Some overtime may be required.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$35.33 - $51.83

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
