Summary:
This role leads and supports Operations Risk initiatives by coaching and guiding Specialists to strengthen controls and promote a consistent, well-governed operating environment. The position provides day-to-day operational guidance, supports staff development through training and feedback, and contributes to the interview process and employee development discussions as appropriate
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
- Minimum four years experience in a banking retail function with related operational process experience required
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, DNA, and Tableau required.
- Certified Operational Risk Manager (CORM) certification preferred
- Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, practices, protocols, systems, and programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily QA activities across Operations Risk, ensuring issues are appropriately addressed and resolved
- Executes validation protocols, performs risk reviews, provides recommendations and documents findings across Retail and Contact Center channels
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to determine validation requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes.
- Establish and monitor departmental and individual goals for staff that are consistent with the Credit Unions strategic plan and annual objectives
- Reviews and validates Incentive Programs, escalates critical issues, and ensures timely resolution of identified deficiencies
- Develop, maintain, and enhance a comprehensive risk management approach aligned with departmental and organizational objectives
- Provides ongoing oversight of Retail and Contact Center initiatives and project rollouts, incorporating continuous risk assessment to support process improvement.
- Prepares and delivers operational communications to leadership on risk considerations and gaps for quality assurance findings
- Monitors operational performance trends and produces weekly and quarterly reports for management and senior leaders, including audit results, key trends, and remediation status
- Performs and ensures branch cash audits and quality reviews are completed for Retail branches; documents findings in standardized format to support reporting, analysis, and corrective action
- Develops and implements processes and procedure improvements to streamline workflows, address control gaps, and enhance Operations Risk procedures
- Performs all duties inherent in the role of a supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned

The good faith range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00 per hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
