Department: Ophthalmology
Location: Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine
Hours: Fulltime, Monday-Friday, flexible with hours
Summary: The Ophthalmic Technician Supervisor provides resource management for the Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing technician schedules in response to the operational needs of the department, monitoring patient flow and collaborating between work groups. In addition, the supervisor is responsible for staffing provider clinics at least 3 days per week, working with the management team on employee training and instruction, coaching and development, troubleshooting, problem solving and performance management. Performance management includes conducting annual performance evaluations and staff meetings.
