We are seeking an experienced, detail oriented IV Pharmacist Supervisor to lead our sterile compounding operations on the morning shift. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and team development. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of sterile compounding while mentoring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in a collaborative hospital environment.

· Supervise the daily operations of the IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy.
· Ensure full compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
· Lead and maintain all sterile compounding policies, procedures, quality assurance initiatives, and documentation.
· Train, mentor, and assess the competency of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in sterile compounding practices and aseptic technique.
· Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, nursing, infection prevention, and AHS pharmacy leadership teams to maintain best practices in sterile compounding.
· Monitor environmental controls, equipment, cleaning procedures, and quality assurance programs to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Support regulatory inspections, accreditation readiness, and implementation of process improvements.
· Promote adherence to aseptic compounding standards while maintaining efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
· Oversees chemotherapy compounding operations, ensuring the safe preparation, verification, and dispensing of hazardous medications in full compliance with USP <800> standards. Collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely chemotherapy treatment.
· Compounds patient-specific sterile preparations and batch sterile products in accordance with USP <797> standards, utilizing aseptic technique and established quality assurance processes to ensure the highest level of patient safety and product integrity.
· Maintains appropriate inventory levels of chemotherapy agents, IV medications, and sterile compounding supplies to support pharmacy operations. Monitors inventory, manages shortages, coordinates procurement, and ensures the safe storage and handling of medications in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
· Reviews, verifies, and dispenses medication orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with departmental policies, regulatory standards, and established turnaround times.
· Performs clinical interventions utilizing Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee-approved protocols, evidence-based practice, and professional clinical judgment to optimize patient outcomes.
· Actively contributes to departmental quality assurance, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives through collaboration, process optimization, and regulatory compliance efforts.

Qualifications:
· Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
· Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the state of New Jersey.
· One year minimum of hospital pharmacy experience, including sterile compounding, is required.
· Demonstrated experience with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
· Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in MS Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams

What We Offer:
Compensation Range: $126,750 - $215,480 per year.
The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.
Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
