About the role.

The Production Supervisor (Packaging/Processing) is responsible for leading frontline production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in either the packaging or processing areas. This role ensures products meet company, regulatory, and customer standards while optimizing resources and driving continuous improvement. Supervisors are expected to become proficient in both Packaging and Processing to support operational flexibility and business needs.

What you'll be doing.

  • Lead and supervise production teams to safely meet daily SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) targets
  • Coordinate packaging and processing activities to ensure continuous product flow
  • Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory specifications
  • Direct and manage line changeovers, grading adjustments, and production scheduling
  • Communicate production status and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Field, Maintenance, Logistics)
  • Enforce GMPs, safety, and sanitation standards across all operations
  • Coach, develop, and evaluate employee performance; manage attendance and discipline as needed
  • Maintain reporting including payroll, schedules, performance reviews, and operational metrics
  • Support audit readiness, execution, and follow-up actions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor equipment condition and initiate maintenance work orders as required
  • Manage product holds and rework in collaboration with Quality teams
  • Build a strong team environment focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

What you'll need to be successful.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of production or manufacturing experience (food industry preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, food safety standards, and GMPs
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (days/nights) as required
  • Proficiency with production systems, reporting tools, and computer applications
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and industrial conditions

About the team.

This role is part of the Operations team at the Easton facility, working closely with Production Managers, Quality, Maintenance, and other functional teams. The Supervisor leads a team of production employees and plays a critical role in ensuring alignment across Packaging and Processing operations to meet customer demand and plant performance goals.

Compensation Package: $65,500.00 - $87,400.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility
