    Description

    Overview

    The primary purpose of this position is guide production personnel in the fabrication, assembly, packaging and/or inspection of medical devices.

    Responsibilities

    - Employee engagement- Coach and develop leaders- Ensure compliance to quality system policies and departmentprocedures.- Communicate expectations, assignments, and responsibilities clearly and professionally to leaders.- Gather departmental data for departmental boards.- Perform other duties and special projects as necessary. Accurately and efficiently document employee Time and Attendance, Merit / Performance reviews, Quality, Workmanship and Disciplinary issues, and monthly efficiencies.- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements- Maintain regular and punctual attendance- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards- Must have effective oral and written communication skills- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision - Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

    Qualifications

    - Minimum 1 year in house experience in medical device production.- Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English.- Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges.- Basic computer entry/retrieval skills.- Good organizational skills.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations • Good manual dexterity & Visual Acuity to work with small parts• Majority of the day is spent frequently moving around/sitting in a "controlled" environment

    • Ability to occasionally lift approximately 5 - 50 lbs.• Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product
