Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate nursing care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

  • Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Lead daily team huddles to set goals and monitor progress against targets.

  • Evaluate patient care plans and adjust workflows for improved efficiency.

  • Document and report nurse performance metrics and quality indicators.

  • Manage on-site staffing schedules to balance workload and meet forecasted demand.

  • Utilize data pipelines and dashboards to track clinical performance and targets.

  • Mentor and support junior staff through coaching and performance feedback.

  • Coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals for seamless patient care.

  • Support professional development plans to promote advancement within the team.

  • Represent the unit in daily operations meetings and escalate risks promptly.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license with current state privileges and without encumbrances.

  • Minimum 3 years nursing leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Proven experience with clinical protocols and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong incident investigation and corrective action skills.

  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, and workforce optimization.

  • Ability to analyze clinical data using dashboards and pipelines.

  • Mentoring and performance feedback for junior nursing staff.

  • Excellent collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.

  • Contract role availability with on-site, shift-based coverage.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving targets and KPI ownership.
