Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate nursing care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Lead daily team huddles to set goals and monitor progress against targets.
Evaluate patient care plans and adjust workflows for improved efficiency.
Document and report nurse performance metrics and quality indicators.
Manage on-site staffing schedules to balance workload and meet forecasted demand.
Utilize data pipelines and dashboards to track clinical performance and targets.
Mentor and support junior staff through coaching and performance feedback.
Coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals for seamless patient care.
Support professional development plans to promote advancement within the team.
Represent the unit in daily operations meetings and escalate risks promptly.
Experience/Qualifications
Registered Nurse license with current state privileges and without encumbrances.
Minimum 3 years nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
Proven experience with clinical protocols and regulatory compliance.
Strong incident investigation and corrective action skills.
Experience with staffing, scheduling, and workforce optimization.
Ability to analyze clinical data using dashboards and pipelines.
Mentoring and performance feedback for junior nursing staff.
Excellent collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.
Contract role availability with on-site, shift-based coverage.
Demonstrated track record of achieving targets and KPI ownership.
