Position Summary
The Supervisor, Safety & Security Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Company's Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The position provides leadership to EHSS personnel, establishes a scalable reporting structure, and ensures consistent ownership of safety and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, administer, and improve EHSS programs and policies
- Establish and maintain a scalable reporting structure for safety & security
- Supervise and lead EHSS staff in day-to-day operations
- Directly oversee incident and accident investigations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
- Lead audits, inspections, and facility compliance assessments
- Analyze safety data and trends to drive improvements
- Serve as advisor to leadership and employees on safety matters
- Participate in safety councils and pre-construction meetings
- Evaluate new projects for safety risks and recommend improvements
- Administer safety & security annual budgets
- Exercise authority to suspend unsafe work activities
