Position Summary

This leadership role provides oversight for a Sports Physical Therapy Clinic(s). Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, supporting day-to-day operations, and advancing initiatives to improve quality, patient experience, and overall efficiency. Ensures consistent delivery of patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and Phoenix Children's standards and requirements.

Position Duties

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with departmental standards, emphasizing evidence-based care in sports rehabilitation. Evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of injuries and sports/orthopedic diagnoses. Possesses skills to apply age and sport appropriate principals to all aspects of care. Maintains appropriate, compliant, and timely documentation. Maintains productivity expectations and high standards for clinical quality, documentation, and patient outcomes. Serves as a clinical resource for staff.

  • Provides on-site leadership for daily clinic operations and personnel issues, including but not limited to: staffing coverage, patient scheduling, and workflow optimization. Monitors and addresses performance metrics (productivity, patient experience, quality measures) and collaborates with leadership to address operational needs. Leads staff engagement, performance management, and conflict resolution. Administrative tasks such as signing timecards, regulatory compliance, and incident reports. Identifies opportunities to enhance clinical programs and processes. Participates in leadership meetings and departmental initiatives.

  • Supports staff on-boarding, competency development, and ongoing mentorship. Screens and interviews candidates for open positions. Conducts regular check-ins, annual reviews, and provides performance feedback. Fosters a positive team culture focused on engagement and patient experience.

  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
