Position: Supervisor – Sterile Processing
Location: Loxahatchee, FL (near Wellington & Royal Palm Beach)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Schedule: Day Shift (No Weekends)

About the Facility:
This is a 204-bed acute care hospital offering a wide range of services including emergency care, women’s and newborn services, Level II NICU, children’s services, outpatient rehabilitation, orthopedics, robotics, and interventional radiology. The hospital is also recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and serves the Palm Beach County community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sterile processing operations (decontamination, assembly, sterilization, distribution)
• Manage staff workflow, scheduling, and productivity
• Ensure compliance with standards (Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, AAMI)
• Perform and validate sterilization quality control tests
• Train and mentor staff
• Manage instruments, equipment, and inventory
• Collaborate with OR and clinical teams

Requirements:

• CRCST certification (required)
• 2–3+ years of sterile processing experience (leadership preferred)
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay range: $20.00 – $28.50/hour (based on experience)
• Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 (subject to approval)
• Full-time benefits package
