Manage staff, processes, supplies, and quality improvement projects of Sterile Processing to ensure the highest quality of services is delivered. Manage regular, on-call and float staff. Provide clinical and operation leadership. Negotiate and manage supply resources in conjunction with PRMCE Purchasing. Oversee information systems necessary for SPD functioning in conjunction with Information Services. Evaluate and assure new technology. Supervisor will be active clinically as well as manage the processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
  • Upon hire: National Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
  • Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
  • 2 years sterile processing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Management skills, knowledge of JCAHO, and state regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively inter and intra departmentally.

The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
