UF HealthShands is seeking a MFM Sonographer Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our MFM Ultrasound unit.

 

Our world-class health system provides comprehensive obstetric, neonatal, maternal-fetal medicine, and subspecialty care to patients throughout the region and from around the world. 

Responsibilities:

 About the Opportunity

This is a working sonographer leadership role responsible for clinical operations, staff performance, professional development, compliance, and exceptional patient service.

The MFM Sonographer Supervisor will:

• Supervise daily ultrasound operations and sonography staff
• Lead hiring, onboarding, discipline, and performance management
• Support staff education, professional development, and clinical excellence
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
• Promote a professional, respectful, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in MFM clinical meetings and initiatives involving changes in clinical practice
• Partner with the Ultrasound Medical Director, Clinic Medical Director, and clinic leadership to achieve      performance and quality goals
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative teams to optimize clinical and operational workflows

 Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Qualifications:

 Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Ultrasound Technology Program
• Minimum 2 years of MFM sonography experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• ARDMS certification
• NT and OB/GYN certifications
• BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

BLS must be maintained throughout employment and, if not already obtained, must be secured within the first 90 days.
