Supervisor Utilities

You've led teams under pressure, kept complex systems running, and never waited to be told twice. This role puts those instincts to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your technical skills and leadership drive real results every single day.

What You'll Do:

• This is a hands-on position located directly on the factory floor.
  The workload is split between 25% to 30% direct maintenance work and 75% to 80% supervision and training.
• The supervisor will manage, monitor, and train a team of 12 technicians, with three technicians assigned to each of the four shifts.
  
• Core responsibilities include ensuring the safe and reliable operation of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, steam, and wastewater systems.
  
• The role requires sustaining and improving the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
  
• Supervise and develop a maintenance team covering utilities systems including ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, boilers, steam, HVAC, and more
  
• Operate and repair electro-mechanical equipment including compressors, motors, pumps, PLC systems, and condensers
  
• Maintain compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements and all regulatory standards
  
• Drive condition-based maintenance practices, manage engineering stores, and control maintenance budgets
  
• Lead daily briefings, conduct performance reviews, and build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  

Requirements

• Hands-on technical background in industrial utilities, including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems
  
• 5 years Experience supervising or leading a maintenance team in a production environment (or 10-15 years of hands on experience)
  
• Working knowledge of PSM programs and/or ammonia refrigeration systems
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment
