Here's a summary of responsibilities:
Effectively supervise the operation of all transportation related services for the Colorado Springs Olympic and Paralympic Training Center.  Coordinate Transportation Services for program participants to and from the airport and off-site venues; respond to all transportation requirements within the parameters of the Olympic & Paralympic Training Center [OPTC] policies.  Schedule the part-time, volunteer, and temporary drivers. 
Here’s how you’ll have an impact:
Transportation Scheduling
  1. Maintain vehicle requests and assign fleet drivers to scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs. 
  2. Manage vehicles to guests as requested by the CSOPTC Operations team. 
  3. Provide work direction/assistance to drivers as requested/needed.
  4. Respond to vehicle emergencies such as breakdowns during and outside of normal working hours.
  5. Provide documentation of vehicle usage.
  6. Provide standard operating procedures to staff
Budgeting / Office Management
  1. Monitor expenses within an annually approved budget.
  2. Execute general accounting, reconciliation, and document preparation for costs, funds used, and charges to other departments.
  3. Purchase supplies as required. 
Other
  1. Implement and enforce USOPC policies, procedures, and recommend adjustments.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned.
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Vehicle fleet operation management certification.
  • Valid Colorado driver license with CDL B P2 rating and 5 years of clean driving history.
  • 3 plus years of vehicle fleet operation management or supervision
  • 2 years of experience with computerized fleet management systems
  • OR a combined equivalency of education, certification, and experience
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Here's some more information you need to know:
  • Hiring pay range $58,000 - $60,000 per year
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 10% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
