Job Title:

Supervisor, Warehouse

Job Description:

The Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Manager, Materials Management. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, shipping, and receiving team along with the Kitting Team.  By working collaboratively with colleagues and direct reports within the manufacturing organization, the Manager will ensure that all materials are staged, properly accounted for, and received and shipped while adhering to the highest safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient support of production and customer fulfillment requirements

  • Provide clear daily direction, prioritization, and oversight for all warehouse activities including receiving, material handling, kitting, picking/packing, shipping, and cycle counting

  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet productivity, quality, and service goals

  • Drive accountability and performance management across the team by reinforcing operational discipline, safety standards, and continuous improvement practices

  • Resolve warehouse-related issues quickly and effectively, escalating as needed

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting processes, reconciliation of discrepancies, and root cause analysis

  • Oversee and execute cycle count programs (daily/weekly/quarterly/annual) and ensure adherence to best practices

  • Perform and oversee warehouse transactions in SAP (or ERP system) to ensure real-time, accurate data

  • Ensure compliance with shipping, receiving, and export documentation requirements, including regulatory standards (e.g., DOT, IATA, IMDG) where applicable

  • Maintain proper document retention and audit readiness in compliance with company and regulatory policies

  • Develop, document, and continuously improve warehouse processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and productivity, driving improvements

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure alignment on order scheduling, capacity, and material flow

  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates, including training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions

  • Foster a positive, high-performance team environment with recognition and engagement

  • Ensure achievement of on-time delivery targets for outbound shipments

  • Enforce safety policies, regulatory compliance, and 6S/lean practices to maintain a safe and organized workplace

  • Maintain records related to training, safety compliance, and equipment operation

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste

  • Support a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing business needs

What We Seek:

  • 3-5 years of warehouse leadership experience (Supervisor, Lead, or similar) in a manufacturing or distribution environment

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001, and PSM (Process Safety Management)

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Technical area of study preferred

  • Ability to flex time with production shifts as needed.

  • Strong computer skills (i.e., ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SAP)

  • Strong level of commitment to team-based management and interpersonal engagement.

  • Strong desire and ability to be a visible leader on the factory floor

  • Proven track record of safety, quality, and customer focus.

  • Ability to create and follow schedules

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Progressive work experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred

  • Experience handling hazardous materials (i.e., chemicals) strongly preferred

  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
