    Position Summary:

    The Supervisor, Early Youth Educational Services (EYES) - will oversee day-to-day operations of Tommy Nobis Center's Early Youth Employment Services (EYES) program for youth with disabilities for a specific region. This is a leadership role that manages the Early Youth Educational Program within a specific geographic area and supervises the team of instructors and PRN staff supporting that region. This role is also responsible for coordinating services with GVRA, local schools, referral sources, and students.

    The supervisor is responsible for EYES services provided in one of the following designated geographic area: North including Gwinnett, Forsyth, North Fulton, Dawson, Hall, Cobb, Paulding, Cherokee, and Bartow Counties, and expanding areas north and northeast of Metro Atlanta, or the South including Fulton, S. Fulton, Clayton, Henry, etc.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Is responsible for managing and growing the "book of business" in their region. Expanding the number of schools, classes, and students we service within the region.
    2. Oversee the daily operation of the EYES program delivered both in school environments and within the community during the summer and school break programming in the respective geographic Metro Atlanta area.
    3. Directly supervises, coaches, and develops the project coordinators and EYES instructors including day-to-day management, timecard entries, approval of employee payroll and mileage, and annual performance evaluations.
    4. Responsible for delivery of services for students in the EYES program including scheduling of the EYES program staff and PRN staff for their respective school/class/group from time of referral to exit to ensure services are provided at the highest level of quality.
    5. Responsible for acquiring service authorization and maintaining adequate reporting records for each individual receiving services.
    6. Ensures participant case notes and monthly status reports are prepared and submitted timely by the EYES Instructors through the utilization of Vertex to report and record documentation of services delivered for billing purposes.
    7. Stewards excellent customer service and positive, productive relationships with community partners, i.e., clients, parents, GVRA, educational partners, local businesses, etc.
    8. Assists EYES instructors in delivering pre-vocational skills curriculum to high school and middle school students as needed.
    9. Assists in the improvement of pre-vocational skills curriculum (career exploration, job readiness, interview skills, self-advocacy, etc.) to meet the needs of the participants, schools, and program requirements.
    10. Maintain accurate records for data metrics and demographic tracking.
    11. Educates the community regarding the EYES program.
    12. Is a cultural ambassador for the organization fostering an environment of trust, alignment, transparency, and accountability.
    13. Communicates and interacts effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.

    Required Experience:

    Qualifications

    Education / Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in education, special education, rehabilitation, sociology, behavioral sciences or business administration or related field.
    • 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferred.
    • 3 years' experience in a teaching role preferred.
    • Experience teaching or working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

    • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
    • Eligibility to work in the United States.

    Prior Experience Desirable:

    • Experience working with transition students.
    • Delivery of job readiness skills training.
    • Developing programmatic marketing materials.

    This role will be primarily based on an in-person work position with the option of up to two hybrid days, at the discretion of the manager. This role will involve driving to participant schools and working in a variety of academic environments within the designated region. Time in the office is in a typical office work environment.
