- Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- Evaluates work performance of subordinates and makes recommendations for outstanding performance recognition or disciplinary action.
- Gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical work and administrative matters.
- Makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinates or customers from organizations serviced.
- Recommends awards for subordinates.
- Recommends changes in the organizational structure that is subject to approval by higher level management.
