This Supervisory Technical Security Investigator position starts at a salary of $107,446 (GS-14, step-1), with a promotion potential to $139,684 (GS-14, Step-10).

Qualifications
To qualify for the grade GS-14 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience at the grade GS-14 level, performing duties such as:
Performing technical security and investigative functions in support of protective, counterintelligence, and national security missions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Time-in-Grade Requirement: Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service on a non-temporary appointment. Applicants must provide a copy of their SF-50 (Notification of Personnel Action), that should include their position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive or Excepted).Please note: If you are applying for a higher grade than the grade that you currently hold and the SF-50 you submit to support your eligibility claim has an effective date within the past year, it will not clearly show that you meet the one-year time-in-grade requirement.
