Summary
This individual will assist the Human Resources Department with various projects and administrative tasks, as well as support the Talent Acquisition team with hiring needs. General office duties include answering phones, routing requests/inquiries, opening and distributing mail, copying, filing, and scanning documents as directed. There will be various projects distributed to this person throughout the department to organize paperwork, create appropriate filling systems, maintain/update documentation, and provide other administrative support. The ideal candidate will be dependable and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others. This individual will have good listening and communication skills, be flexible and able to deal with interruptions, and will maintain a high work ethic, integrity, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual will have computer skills, including knowledge of and the ability to use the Internet, email, calendaring software, spreadsheets, database, statistical and word processing software. Individual must be able to perform data entry, run reports as needed, and work in databases such as Ellucian Banner.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
