Military Flight Controls Division Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace's Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. Tested, proven and trusted in commercial and military applications for decades, MFCD provides precise position-control actuation solutions for military aircraft across the United States and with foreign partners. The division's JetPipe electrohydraulic servovalve (EHSV) technology is used across commercial and military aircraft around the world. Headquartered in Irvine, California, the Military Flight Controls Division is the global leader in fly-by-wire flight control systems and electrohydraulic products and offers the world''s most advanced motor design capabilities for flight controls.
Position Summary:
The Supplier Development Project Engineer is responsible for managing key supplier work-transfer projects in collaboration with cross-functional internal and external teams. The role supports strategic deflation initiatives, mitigates supply chain risk, facilitates continuous improvement, and helps resolve technical and operational issues with suppliers.
This position monitors supplier performance through scorecards and key performance indicators and supports supplier evaluation and approval in partnership with Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications:
B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline, professional level experience of six or more years in manufacturing engineering roles ( aerospace manufacturing experience, particularly with complex and moderately complex machine parts.) , preferably with 1 to 2 years in Supply Chain.
Certification or a professional designation in a specialty area (e.g. APICS) may be required or preferred depending on position requirements.
Demonstrated project management capability, including the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to read and interpret technical product drawings. (Example: Blue-Print)
Proven ability to promote new ideas, drive positive changes, and lead continuous improvement.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, Access, and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to understand business practices and supplier performance data.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Thorough knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and technology, information systems, and/or specialty areas, and general business practices.
Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives.
Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities. Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals.
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
