Description
- Manage supplier quality performance and corrective action activities (SCARs).
- Investigate supplier-related quality issues and lead root-cause analysis.
- Monitor supplier quality metrics, trends, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Partner with Procurement and Operations to drive supplier quality improvements.
- Support supplier qualification, audits, and performance reviews.
- Review quality documentation, inspection records, and first article reports.
- Resolve nonconforming material issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve supply chain quality.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-4 years of quality engineering experience within aerospace manufcaturing.
- Strong supplier quality background, including corrective actions, audits, and performance management.
- Experience leading root-cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, and FMEA.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
- Proven ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive measurable process improvements.
- Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable reviewing technical documentation, engineering drawings, and quality records in a regulated environment.
