At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are presently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer that be responsible for managing and leading supplier qualifications and documentation.Main responsibilitiesLead new supplier qualification and approval activities including validation First Article Inspection FAI and risk assessments.Develop and execute supplier audit programs manage audit findings and verify effective corrective actions.Maintain supplier quality documentation records certifications quality agreements and approved supplier status within the QMS.Manage supplier change requests deviations concessions nonconformances and Supplier Corrective Action Requests SCARs.Monitor incoming inspection data supplier quality performance and defect trends to identify risks and drive improvement.Own supplier scorecards and performance metrics communicating trends and recommending appropriate monitoring development or qualification actions.Lead supplier development initiatives to improve quality process capability and overall supplier performance.Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements and specifications in collaboration with Engineering and Operations.Assess supplier risk and maintain supplier segmentation critical supplier status and ongoing monitoring activitiesOther duties as assginedRequirementsBachelors degree in Engineering Quality Manufacturing or a related technical field.Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Supplier Quality Quality Engineering Manufacturing Quality or a related role within a regulated or ISO 9001 environment.Working knowledge of supplier auditing root cause analysis CAPA FAI process validation risk management and quality management systems preferred.Strong analytical problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills preferred.ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional CSQP Certified Quality Engineer CQE or equivalent quality certification preferred.Benefits start day 1 Medical Dental Vision 401K Holiday Pay PAID MaternityPaternity leave Tuition Reimbursement Long-term and Short-term disability.Pay Range 73000 - 115000 per year depending on experience.Excelitas is a global technology leader with more than 7500 employees focused on delivering market-driven solutions to fulfill the illumination optical detection and imaging needs of OEMs and end-users across the biomedical semiconductor industrial consumer products scientific security defense and aerospace sectors.ENGAGE with us today and make your contribution to the future Join the team that leading technology companies turn to for cutting-edge photonic innovation.At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.Our facility in Boulder Coloradohas key functions in Research and Development Operations Production and other disciplines.
