Supplier Quality Engineer
Oklahoma or Colorado | Full-Time | On-site 

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support and improve the performance of a global supplier base within the aerospace and defense industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing supplier quality initiatives, conducting audits, driving corrective actions, and partnering cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams. This position will support supplier performance throughout the full product lifecycle, from qualification and production readiness through continuous improvement efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier audits, evaluations, and performance reviews
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Monitor supplier quality metrics and compliance standards
  • Support FAI, process validation, and production readiness activities
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and aerospace quality requirements
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve supplier-related issues and improve overall performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years of aerospace industry experience
  • Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective action (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
  • Experience with AS9100, FAA regulations, supplier audits, and corrective actions
  • Working knowledge of FAI, FMEA, SPC, and quality systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality systems/tools
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel 25–40%
