Supplier Quality Engineer – Electrical & Controls | GE Vernova | Travel 50–60%

Our client, a leading global energy and power generation company, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer – Electrical & Controls to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Engineering Department supporting Sourcing, Engineering, and Supplier Development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

$54.85/hour (Contract)

What’s the Job?

• Manage supplier qualifications and ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct supplier audits, inspections, and process validations to maintain quality standards
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Support supplier onboarding, production readiness, and product release activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing teams

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Electronics Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing, quality, or engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Supply Chain
• Experience with PCBAs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and control systems
• Strong root cause analysis skills (8D, RCA, Six Sigma or equivalent) and willingness to travel 50–60%
