Role: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location:- Fremont, California / Onsite

Duration: long Term Contract 

Note:- Max pay $50/hr to $55/hr on W2

Job Summary:

Responsible for supplier quality management of data center rack systems and advanced cooling solutions. The role involves evaluating thermal/mechanical designs, supplier manufacturing capability, reliability test reports, and process quality to ensure products meet performance, manufacturability, serviceability, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage mechanical suppliers manufacturing data center rack systems and advanced cooling solutions.

·         Evaluate supplier process capability, product quality, manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.

·         Review thermal/mechanical designs, specifications, shock/vibration reports, and reliability test results.

·         Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and supplier process improvements.

·         Support new product launches and ensure supplier quality readiness.

·         Conduct supplier audits, track KPIs, maintain supplier performance records, and escalate unresolved issues.

·         Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and suppliers to resolve quality and design concerns.

Skills Required:

Thermal/mechanical engineering, supplier quality management, data center rack systems, advanced cooling solutions, RCA/CAPA, supplier audits, reliability testing, ISO 9001, KPI tracking, cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s/PhD in Thermal or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
