WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work closely with our clients and their suppliers to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting supplier audits, process validations, and quality assessments.
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues.
- Managing APQP, PPAP, and other quality documentation to ensure supplier compliance.
- Monitoring supplier performance using key quality metrics and driving improvements.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure smooth product launches and production.
- Ensuring suppliers meet industry standards and client-specific requirements.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have 2-5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or a related field.
- You have a background in manufacturing and experience with quality systems.
- You are familiar with quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.).
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- You can effectively communicate and collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and management.
- Your English skills are solid, German and/or Spanish is a plus.
- You are willing to travel within the U.S. (Mon–Fri) based on project needs; flexibility required.
- You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
