This role is expected to bring the know-how and tools that have been proven to work and a hands-on approach to developing robust supplier processes and long-term performance.

What you will do?

Assess their quality system maturity, and validate the supplier’s manufacturing capabilities, and their ability to comply with company and industry standards.
  • Support supplier onboarding of new suppliers by ensuring clear communication of specifications, drawings, inspection requirements, and quality performance expectations.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier nonconformance data, identifying trends, recurring defects, and opportunities to reduce the cost of poor quality. Facilitate supplier review meetings covering performance scorecards, risks, and improvement plans.
  • Evaluate supplier nonconformances identified during receiving inspection or assembly operations and implement timely containment and disposition actions. Drive thorough root cause analysis and verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Act as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal engineering and quality teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements to suppliers. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement to address design-for-manufacturability topics, clarify specifications, and resolve technical issues that impact supplier performance.
  • Review and disposition first article inspection reports for new suppliers or for first-time builds with existing suppliers, verifying conformance to drawings, tolerances, performance criteria, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure process documentation, measurement systems, and control plans are in place for critical suppliers and effective throughout supplier manufacturing operation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in developing supplier qualification, on-boarding and management processes.

Required Qualifications
