Role:Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Summary:

BS in Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering with 4 year experience in supplier quality engineer, project planning and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering with 4 year experience in supplier quality engineer, project planning and documentation
• Knowledge with AIAG standard, audit and proficient in Minitab / Excel / Power BI preferred
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt preferred
• Project management skill, experience with MRP system, GD&T, MRB, SCAR, DFM preferred
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, FMEA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the supply chain team to develop supply base
• Lead scheduled supplier quality, supplier issue and continuous improvement
• Partner with supply chain for supplier sourcing, qualification, selection and development
• Work with engineering, supply chain, and operations on all stages of new product development, ensuring quality
• Oversee validation, FAI and develop supplier scorecard, track KPIs, and work with suppliers on action plans to improve performance
• Lead technical reviews of new components and existing components with supplier and engineering
