Supplier Quality Engineer - Pharma

Piper Companies is seeking a Supplier Quality Consultant in Raritan, NJ to support a global pharmaceutical company with a remediation project and liaise with suppliers.

Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer

• Responsible for establishing quality expectations of suppliers, and supplier process changes
• Evaluate potential and existing suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain supplier evaluation and selection processes.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality systems and processes.
• Identify and address potential quality risks in the supply chain.
• Lead supplier visits of all quality system categories to assess compliance to process excellence

Qualifications of the Supplier Quality Engineer

• 3+ years of experience within Supplier Quality
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and current FDA enforcement
• Experience in operations source quality
• Bachelor of Science in related field

Compensation for the Supplier Quality Engineer

• $75,000-$90,000 on a W2 contract rate
