Description

Primary Objectives
Participate in the new supplier introduction process, including on-site audits and capability assessments for potential suppliers (mechanical components, electronic components, outsourcing Supplier); oversee the evaluation procedures and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
Plan and implement the regular supplier auditing for existing suppliers; Establish a supplier performance evaluation system, the implement the mechanisms for rating, coaching, elimination and RED line management.
Identify opportunities for improvements and drive vendors to improve quality , on time delivery, cost and process capability continuously.
Corrective Action Report/8D to vendor and follow up the whole problem-solving process, ensure the root causes are identified and corrective actions are effective.
Lead PPAP for new parts qualification, coordination with purchasing, quality and R&D departments to promote the verification of new materials, new process and improvements of supplier capabilities

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/Electronic/Automation/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years working experience, 3+ years direct experience in supplier management role.
Rich experience with domestic suppliers is preferred.
Familiar with sheet metal manufacturing process is preferred.
Familiar with injection molding process is preferred.
Familiar with PCBA manufacturing process is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, have the capability to communicate in English
Travel is required.
