The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will support quality engineering responsibilities relative to sub-tier suppliers. The primary focus of the role is to identify, resolve, and eliminate quality issues deriving from the supply base.
The key responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer include, but are not limited to:

The key skills and qualities of a Supplier Quality Engineer at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Bachelor''''s degree in mechanical, industrial, or equivalent engineering practices
Minimum of 3 years'''' production or manufacturing technical experience preferred
Strong communication skills required (written and verbal)
Preferred skill set in manufacturing practices: CNC machining, molding, plating and assembly operations
GD&T knowledge and practice required
Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, and Data3/AS400 MRP System
Travel requirement: up to 50%, may include international locations
Some travel may be at a day''''s notice as business critical issues arise on occasion, most travel will be scheduled
Standard physical requirements in office setting, extended periods of sitting and standing with minimal lifting
