Job Details

Job Details:
You'll own supplier quality for purchased products and services that feed flight hardware programs, partnering closely with Purchasing and Program Engineering to develop suppliers, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.
Serve as the primary quality point of contact for assigned suppliers.
Plan, conduct, and document supplier audits, assessments, and surveillance activities.
Initiate, review, and approve supplier corrective actions, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
Drive resolution of supplier quality issues, including nonconformances, escapes, and delivery-related concerns.
Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and periodic performance evaluation; monitor supplier quality metrics and lead improvement
initiatives; review and present non-conformance reports (NCRs) to the Corrective Action Board.

Looking for:
Supplier quality experience in an aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environment; years determines levels
BS in an engineering or related technical field
Associate through senior levels considered
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T); strong written and verbal communication; proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:

AS9100 or ISO quality management systems
NADCAP special processes
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA / CAPA)
Supplier audits and surveillance
