    Description

    Inside the Role

    Support Supplier Quality activities by coordinating PPAP submissions, reviewing supplier documentation, tracking open actions, and helping ensure supplier compliance with DTNA quality, engineering, and customer requirements. This role also supports supplier training initiatives, reporting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to improve process discipline and supplier performance.

    Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000 - $91,000 USD

    Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

    What you Drive at DTNA

    • Coordinate the PPAP process with DTNA suppliers to ensure timely submissions and compliance with established requirements. Review supplier documentation for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for final approval.
    • Support suppliers in understanding DTNA engineering specifications, quality requirements, and customer expectations.
    • Track overdue PPAP activities, escalate risks as needed, and support improvements that strengthen supplier compliance.
    • Coordinate the Supplier Training Academy by managing training activities, maintaining materials, tracking completion, and promoting compliance with DTNA quality requirements.
    • Use intermediate Microsoft Office skills to analyze data, track basic metrics, and create professional presentations for management and supplier communications.

    Knowledge You Should Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quality Management, Data Analytics, or related fields.
    • 0–3 years of professional, internship, or co-op experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, supplier management, or a related area.
    • Basic understanding of quality management principles, with the ability to learn and apply automotive quality processes such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
    • Ability to review supplier documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established requirements.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track open activities, follow up on overdue items, and manage multiple priorities.
    • Effective communication skills to support suppliers, explain requirements, escalate risks, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel for basic data analysis and tracking, and PowerPoint for professional presentations and supplier communications.

    Exceptional Candidates Might Have

    • Experience with automotive quality standards, industry requirements, or related quality methodologies.
    • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools, with experience creating dashboards, reports, or data analyses through coursework, internships, or projects.
    • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts.
    • Interest in supplier quality, supplier development, and process improvement initiatives.
