Description
Our client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst/Coordinator I for their Ladson, SC/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
The manager is looking for someone with supply chain (required), advanced Excel (required), PowerBI (preferred) and Oracle (preferred) experience.
This role will be more analytical and will include data mining and system updates.
The Supply Chain Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for capturing and consolidating supply plan updates across all planning groups, ensuring the Oracle system stays aligned with current promise dates.
This role works cross-functionally with materials planning, procurement, and production control to maintain data accuracy, drive timely resolution of supply gaps, and enhance the reporting tools and dashboards used to communicate supply status to leadership.
Promise Date & Oracle Alignment:
Capture supply plan updates from all planning groups on a recurring basis and ensure timely, accurate entry into Oracle
Align Oracle system data (promise dates, order quantities, supply commitments) with the latest supplier and planning group inputs
Identify discrepancies between system data and actual supply commitments, and escalate to appropriate planners for resolution
Maintain consistent communication cadence with planning groups to capture changes as they occur, not just at reporting intervals
Support root cause analysis on missed or shifted promise dates
Partner with materials planners and buyers to validate updates before system entry
Participate in relevant supply/production review meetings as the data alignment representative
Reporting & Dashboard Enhancement:
Enhance and maintain existing Excel templates used for supply plan tracking, promise date monitoring, and escalation reporting
Standardize recurring reports to reduce manual rebuild time
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards pulling from Oracle/Excel data sources to visualize promise date attainment, supply gaps, and trend analysis
Automate manual reporting processes where possible to reduce prep time on recurring decks
Generate and distribute status reports/dashboards reflecting current supply plan and promise date alignment
Data Integration & Process Improvement:
Support integration of data into Power BI or other BI tools for real-time or near-real-time visibility
Maintain data integrity checks and validation rules to catch errors before they reach dashboards or leadership reporting
Identify opportunities to reduce touchpoints between planning group updates and Oracle system entry (e.g., templated intake forms, standardized submission cadence)
Create and maintain a single source-of-truth tracker that feeds both Oracle alignment and leadership reporting
Support continuous improvement of the update-capture process to reduce manual touchpoints and data lag
Requirements:
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP/MRP systems required
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data validation, reporting) required
Prior experience in supply chain, materials planning, or production control
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Strong communication skills — comfortable interfacing with multiple planning groups and following up to close gaps
Ability to work independently and manage a recurring, deadline-driven cadence
Experience building or maintaining Power BI dashboards
Experience in a manufacturing or automotive supply chain environment
Prior experience with Cummins or similar large-scale manufacturing ERP environments
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or onthe-job experience.
