This is the data powerhouse. This person doesn't need to be a smooth negotiator; they need to be a master of the systems to feed you and the buyers the exact math needed to run the plant. 

Position Overview: The Supply Chain Analyst is the data-driven engine of the procurement team. This role is responsible formaintaining inventory integrity, analyzing commodity swings, establishing system parameters, and utilizing advanced data tools like Power BI and SQL to drive actionable insights and resolve financial-to-operational variances. 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Calculate and update validated Min/Max values within Macola to ensure automated pull signals and scheduling trigger correctly based on current demand. 

  • Build, maintain, and analyze Power BI dashboards and SQL queries to track commodity cost swings and prevent gross margin erosion. 

  • Analyze inventory turns by value stream (COGs/Turns Analysis) and present actionable reduction targets. 

  • Partner with Accounting and Plant Management to track aging inventory metrics and resolve ongoing General Ledger to ERP inventory variances. 

  • Extract baseline pricing data and formulate target costs to support the tactical buying team's vendor negotiations. 

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, VBA), Power BI, and SQL. 

  • Deep understanding of ERP architecture (Macola experience highly preferred). 

  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills.
