Altec is looking for individuals to join our Procurement team, located in St. Joseph, Missouri. Supply Chain Analyst--Entry Level/New Grad opportunities will be responsible for quoting, purchasing, and expediting materials and supplies from vendors. As well as maintaining vendor relationships, focusing on quality, cost and delivery.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree required

• A degree in one of the following majors preferred:

• Business

• Supply Chain Management

• Operations Management

• Prior industry experience preferred.

• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.

• Prior Oracle experience preferred.

• Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred.

Potential Responsibilities:

• Maintain supplier performance scorecards, which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and cost.
• Maintain supplier documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.
• Authorize payment of invoices
• Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise.
• Purchase and expedite all components and services related to the manufacture of finished product, maintenance, repair and operations requirements.
• Initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers.
